MFT Sketch 333 and Color Challenge 69

Hi All!

This is the second card of the day I made for current MFT Sketch and Color challenge. Here is my card. It was a real challenge to combine both sketch and colors but I loved the outcome.

Here is the MFT Sketch # 333 and the color combos #69.

I had fun creating this card. I first did some masking to create the diagonal lines for the sketch by using some printer's tape and distress inks.
After creating the background, I diecut the word Hugs using MFT Big Hugs Dies. I cut multiple times from white cardstock for an added dimension. To give a shadow effect, I also diecut hugs from black cardstock and while stacking all the Hugs layers, I offset the black one a bit towards right.

The cute bear and dog image and the sentiment is from MFT Friends Furever stamp set. I added some sparkle using Spectra Noir sparkle pen.

That's it from my side today. I will back soon!

Happy Crafting!

This one is based on MFT Color Challenge. Here is the color palette.

For this card, I have used one of the cute bear image from BB Beary Special Birthday stamp set and made it the focal point of card. I colored it with Kuretake zig clean clear real brush pens.

The Banner die is from MFT again. But I guess it has been discontinued as I was not able to find its link.

The sentiment is from Big Birthday Sentiments stamp set. The papers are again from MFT. I have used Plaid Patterns Paper Pack and Dots & Stripes Confection Paper Pack.

MFT Sketch Challenge - Sketch 331

Hi All!

How are you doing? I am back again after a long break and hopefully I will stick around this time. Lot of things are happening  at the personal front which are keeping me busy. But I did managed to sneak out some time to play along latest MFT challenges and made 2 cards; one each for Sketch and Color challenge!

First up is card for sketch challenge.

Here is the MFT sketch number 331.

and here is my interpretation.

I made a shaker card with a cute unicorn flying in the sky full of clouds. The unicorn, cloud/rainbow image and the sentiment is from MFT BB Magical Unicorns stamp set and colored the images with Kuretake zig clean clear real brush pens.

For the clouds I used one of the three dies from MFT Die-namics Stitched Cloud Edges. This time I used pattern papers lavishly as I newly bought 2 paper packs from MFT :D

Here I have used Dots & Stripes Sorbet Paper Pack and Dots & Stripes Confection Paper Pack from MFT again. The stripes and dots are so gorgeous over yummy colors. I am totally in love with these papers!

Here is a close up of shaker component. The acetate sheet and sequins are from a local store.

I have mentioned all the supplies with the links. In case you have any question/comment, please leave a comment.

Have a great day!

Honey Bee - Zen Bouquet Birthday Wishes

Hi All,

I am back again to share another card I made. It's a birthday card I made for my friend.

For the card, I heat embossed the Zen Bouquet stamp on watercolor paper with embossing ink and heat embossed it using white embossing powder.
After that I roughly added lines of colors using Zig clean clear real brush pens and blended the colors with water brush.
For extra dimension, I die cut the panel using my new tag die from Lil' Inker. Added another vellum tag die cut using smaller tag from the same tag die set.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed the "Happy" sentiment from Honey Bee's Happy everything stamp set and die cut "birthday" using Mama Elephant Birthday Creative Cut die from glitter cardstock. Here is a closer look.

Supplies Used :

CardStock : Neenah Solar white, Strathmore Cold Press Watercolor paper
Stamps : Honey Bee Zen Bouquet, Honey Bee Happy Everything
Dies : Mama Elephant Birthday Creative Cut, Lil'Inker Anytime Tags Die set
Coloring : Zig Clean Clear Real Brush Pens
Others : Ranger super fine embossing powder, Vellum
