One of my old project

Hello!

How were your weekend friends? Mine was too hectic... feeling bad that it's over.. :(
Anyways, today I just wanted to share one of my old projects when I was not blogging... I love this one a lot so it's still with me... Might be if I get its true recipient I will give it away... :)

It’s a 3 x 3 mini card set with 3 book marks...

Here are the cards,

 A closure look...

I have used puffy stickers in 2 cards...

This one is hand drawn by me but its not my design. One fine day I was sitting idle in office and just randomly searching on the net and found this designed with the hearts hanging on the curtain rail. I really loved it. The design got imprinted in my mind and one day I drew it on the cardstock. Sorry I never noticed to whom this design originally belongs too as I never knew I will draw it one day. So if you know who is the owner please inform me so that I can give the due credit.
I drew it with a gel pen and colored it with pencil colors.

Here are the bookmarks from the set. I used pink cardstock, puffy stickers, and ribbons and did some doodling. The red checkered paper was an envelope of a card which my friend gave me about 10 years back!!! I just saved it coz I liked it a lot but I never knew I would be using it 10 years later... :)

Here is the wrapping and packing of the set.

I hope you guys liked it and if so then don't forget to comment. Your comments make my day...

Good night!

Handmade Flowers

Hi all!

I created few handmade flowers yesterday... Take a look... (big white and pink ones were made previously)

another view...

I used flower shaped die cuts I purchased on my shopping spree at itsy bitsy on my birthday... I embossed the petals with the back of a pen and used pillow as my embossing pad... ;) tucked 2 big and one small together and a glued a pearl on the top... Voila! my handmade flower is ready!

I had fun making these and tried different types too.. I made 8 of these in 1 hour... not bad huh...
How about this variation? These are my favourite...

I embossed all the petal towards inwards and glued 6 die cuts together...
I will be adding many such flowers too to my blog candy as the number of followers and comments has increased... so if you have not entered yet you still have time to do so... Here is the link... International bloggers are also invited!!! I can make these flowers in the colors as per winner's choice too... so hurry up!!!

I hope you like these... If anyone need details please feel free to contact.. I am just a comment away...

Lots of love,
Priya...

ICRC7 - ONE BIG creature & ONE SMALL Creature

Please enter here for my giveaway.
Hello!

i just shared my winning moments here. Onto a card now.
Being the guest designer for the new challenge (ICRC7) @ ICR, I was assigned the job to create a card based on following theme
CREATURES BIG & SMALL + COMBO TWIST to ADD ONE OF EACH.... ONE BIG creature & ONE SMALL Creature!!!

and this is what I came up with... its a mid fold card... I liked this fold which I first saw at Donna's blog here. Moreover, I ran out of my brown cardstock so this fold was a cleaver selection.. hehehe :D

The image is a coloring image from the colorpages. I printed it on the cardstock and colored with water color pencils. Ir was so much fun painting Pooh...
Flowers were a RAK from my bloggy friend Jovita. Patterned paper is again a RAK from Asha. Cardstock and die cuts are purchased from Kavitha's craft studio.
Here is the sentiment inside, Celebrate!

I would like to enter this card to following challenges:
Paper Take Weekly Challenge - hot colours
Sir Stampalot Challenge - Anything goes
Die Cut Dreams - four legged animals
Love n wishes,
Priya

Good News + pink on pink card

Hello!

Sorry for not updating for the past 1 week. If you have read my previous post, I wanted to share a news with all of you. My come rain come shine card has made it to the top 3 at ICR Challenge # 5!!!!!!!! Not only this, I was also selected as a guest designer for their next challenge!!!!!!!! I am on cloud nine these days... :) :) With all the happiness flowing in I have something for all of you. keep watching my blog for a sweet surprise.

Currently, challenge 6 is going on where the theme is pink on pink with tic tac toe grid for other card elements. I selected the diagonal line of flowers, ribbon and button. You can check the details here.
Here is my take on the challenge. Its a shaped card. I do not have a die or a die cut machine to cut the below shape. So I used the readymade diecuts I purchased as stencils.

The swirls are drawn with glitter tubes.

As usual the coordinating envelope to go with the card.

The big flower I made by sticking together layers of flower die cuts (from Itsy Bitsy) after embossing them with the back of the pen. The button at the center was a swap from Jovita.

I want to enter this card to following challenges:
ICR Challenge 6 - Pink on pink
Charisma cards challenge - All about flowers
Creative Craft Challenges - Pretty Blossoms
All Sorts Challenge - Free & Easy July
Try it on Tuesday - Flower Power

Pleaseeeeeeeeeee leave some comments about my creation. I just love reading comments.

Love n wishes,
Priya.

One Crafty birthday

Hey it was my birthday yesterday and I had loads of fun and you must be wondering why I titled this post as “One crafty Birthday”?
Here is the story…
Everyone here knows that I am so obsessed with my paper craft hobby now a day’s. So, my dear ones gave a very sweet surprise to me. They took me to a place which was quite far from our place. I couldn’t recognize the roads as I have been there only once. They stopped at a place and blind folded me. Directed me to a shop like that till I stepped into it. When I was actually inside the shop they asked me to open my eyes and just imagine where I was??? I was in itsy bitsy!!! They gave me 1.5K gift voucher and asked me to start the shopping!!!
So just imagine for a craft addicted what it would feel like. And the staff there knew it’s my b’day and everyone there wished me. It was a birthday of its kind that I can never forget. I enjoyed my day to the core.
Here is what I purchased.
 A wide view...

Some blooms...
 Some bling...

Some embellishments.... feathers, brads, twine, stems, etc

Blank cards and envelopes...

and a whole lot of handmade cardstock, patterned papers, craft papers, etc

Also, I have very good news to share with you and for that I will have a dedicated post tomorrow. Because I am so much happy now days (touchwood) I have something very special for all of you. So please visit my blog tomorrow for a sweet surprise. J
Till then happy crafting!
Priya…
